Ruth Sun joined Google in November 2025 to lead all revenue and go-to-market operations for Google Cloud Korea. Google Cloud is the division of Google that brings Google's technology and solutions to enterprises, governments, and startups around the world. Under Ruth's leadership, the team is focused on delivering tangible value for customers of all sizes and across industries by transforming in the cloud, powered by artificial intelligence.

Prior to joining Google, Ruth was the Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships at IBM, where she was integral to the company's Corporate Leadership Team and oversaw IBM's multibillion-dollar business relationship with Samsung Group. Before her tenure at IBM, Ruth successfully led the turnaround of Tempest as CEO and Board Director where she tripled the company's topline growth.
